elevator pitch 2

In my last pitch the main thing people told me was that some of the humor I was using might be offensive. Because of this I tried to be more professional. Also I was made aware that in the first video I swayed back and forth too much, so i tried to adjust.

  1. Beau,

I like your concept and I think it would be beneficial to people in the music industry. I would suggest with your pitch to be more enthusiastic which will transfer to whomever you are pitching your idea to. Also try not to look away from the camera as much as I believe people relish eye contact and it they will perceive you to be more authentic and truthful. Overall I think you have a great idea and people will be persuaded to come on board.

  2. Hey Beau,
You have a great idea here and it is clear that you know and understand the nuisances of the app/software and why it will work. I am impressed with how you took the advice from the first elevator pitched and applied it here. Of course it is hard to be that enthusiastic when it is just you starring into a camera, but im sure if you were in front of an audience you would bring in some of that sense of humor and be more comfortable.

  3. Beau,

Great adjustments from your first pitch, however, you could add a little more energy next time. I know that kind of defeats the pursue of not adding humor or what not, but just find a happy medium. Overall, I think you have a great idea, and see the need for this type of technology in the music industry. Keep it up!

  4. Hello Beau, I want to commend you on taking the criticism from the first pitch, and using it constructively. It can be weird getting help from people you don't know, but sometimes these are the best opinions you can get. Besides that, I love your idea. I am trying, myself to get into the music industry, and I think this could be super beneficial.

  5. Beau,

I think that you took everything everyone said and applied it here for pitch number 2! I think you made some good adjustments and nailed it this time! I know for me it can be a struggle to get all the info in a 60-90 second time slot, but you did well with that. You seem a little tense with this one, I get that though. These things can be tough! Overall, good job!

  7. Beau,

I think you improved from the previous pitch, for sure. I think you might want to adjust it slightly. I think you should explain your product a little more before you go into the legal matters. I think it will help draw them in more. Other thank that, I think that your product will be useful to a lot of people.

  8. Beau,

This sounds like a great pitch! I feel like most people don't realize how hard it is to talk for a few minutes without a script. I think that you conveyed your pitch well and did it very professionally! I also think that people would listen to this pitch you come off as this regular person trying to help people with something you think would help them because it helps you!

  9. I definitely think your pitch this time around was a lot more professional. One super small thing that I noticed was at the end you said “that’s it”. It’s a natural tendency to want to say something to close a speech or presentation, but I would try to just say “thank you” since it sounds more professional. Also I would try to incorporate some humor back in. I actually enjoyed it last time and it can be a great way to grab the viewer’s attention. Maybe just have a friend look it over first so you can avoid the possibility of accidentally offending someone. Being more enthusiastic can also be a great way to grab your viewers’ attention. Envision yourself as Billy Mays. Make your product and your pitch memorable! Great job and I look forward to seeing your third one!

  10. I myself, did enjoy your last pitch, and you kept my attention. I found your personality to be entertaining and funny. This pitch, I got the feeling you were a bit more uptight, and not as relaxed looking. I'm glad that you are able to accept constructive criticism, and took these comments into account to improve your pitch. However, my thoughts are, like I said I enjoyed your humor and personality in your original pitch. Your product idea is great and I'd like to see you stay true to it, especially personality wise.
